Choosing the Right Fabric for Sportswear

The right fabric affects comfort, performance, how decoration looks and how long the garment lasts. Here is a quick guide to the fabrics we use most.
Polyester interlock
A smooth, stable knit that takes sublimation beautifully. The go-to choice for soccer, volleyball, flag football and fastpitch jerseys.
Moisture-wicking mesh
Open structures for ventilation — ideal for basketball jerseys, side panels and training tops in hot climates.
Pro-weight double knit
Heavier and more durable, used for ice hockey, American football and lacrosse where uniforms take hard contact.
Nylon / spandex and polyester / spandex
Four-way stretch fabrics for leggings, sports bras and compression wear. Look for squat-proof opacity and good recovery.
Cotton / spandex jersey
Soft, comfortable and stretchy — popular for gym T-shirts, stringers and lifestyle training wear. Best decorated with screen print, DTF or embroidery.
Fleece
Brushed inside for warmth — used for hoodies, joggers and tracksuits.
