This guide explains how to prepare artwork and choose decoration methods so your order moves quickly from mock-up to production.
1. Artwork files
- Best: vector files — AI, EPS, PDF or SVG with fonts converted to outlines.
- Good: high-resolution PNG or JPG (at least 300 dpi at print size, transparent background preferred).
- Upload files with your quote request, cart item or order (up to 10 MB each). For larger files, mention it and we will send a transfer link.
2. Decoration methods
| Method | Best for | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Sublimation | Team uniforms, all-over prints | Unlimited colours, ink becomes part of the polyester fabric so it won't crack or peel. |
| Screen printing | T-shirts, hoodies, bulk logos | Strong, vibrant spot colours; ideal for larger runs. |
| Heat transfer / DTF | Names, numbers, small runs | Sharp detail and quick changes for personalisation. |
| Embroidery | Caps, hoodies, polos, crests | Premium, durable finish; 3D puff available on caps. |
| Tackle twill | Hockey, baseball, varsity | Stitched layered appliqué for a classic pro look. |
| Patches | Crests, badges | Woven, embroidered, silicone or rubber patches. |
3. Colours
Share Pantone (PMS) references where possible. Screen colours vary, so for critical brand colours we recommend approving a physical sample.
4. Names, numbers & rosters
Send a roster with each player's name, number and size (a spreadsheet is ideal). Please double-check spelling — names are printed exactly as approved.
5. Labels & packaging
Private label options include woven or printed neck labels, care labels, swing tags, size stickers, branded polybags and custom printed boxes.
6. Approval
We send a digital mock-up showing colours, placement and sizes. Production starts only after your written approval.
